SodalitySt. Augustine'sThe mission of the Sodality is to lead its members to Jesus through Mary and to assist the parish and community spiritually, socially and financially. The members of St. Augustine’s Sodality have, for many years, played a very active role in the parish life. Our work continues today in a variety of ways. Assisting our members in any way possible if there is a family emergency is one of our primary goals. We support of the parish school and religious education program through awards and contributions to major projects. The weekly and semi-annual major church cleaning is done by our members with the help of other parishioners. An annual Christmas party for residents at McKeets Nursing Home is also sponsored by our members as well as a collection of non-perishable food items for the Elkridge Food Bank. The social time and meetings are held monthly, September through May on the second Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Burke Wing next to the school. All ladies of the parish and the community, 18 years of age and older, are welcome to join the Sodality at any time.
